The Human and Fair Travel Agency

Human Trip,
putting people at the heart of the journey.

The HUMAN TRIP travel agency was set up in December 2007.

The agency's founder, RAGONE Jean-Marc, a tourism professional who worked for several years for traditional travel agencies, decided to offer a different kind of travel, close to the local people.
The aim is to help travellers rediscover the very essence of travel: authenticity and a change of scenery. Travellers should be enriched by the discovery of another culture, but should not transpose their values or impose themselves on others. It's all about encounters and exchanges. 13 years ago, the concept of responsible travel was little known and the adventure was risky.

In 2009, Human Trip won the APS New Tourism Entrepreneur Challenge: its innovative concept was recognised by its peers.

In 2013, Human Trip tripled its turnover compared with its first years, and obtained IATA approval, enabling it to issue its own tickets for travellers.

Today, Human Trip is the guarantee that you are entrusting your travels to a sustainable company, involved in humanitarian and associative actions (each year, part of its profits are donated to the association) but also and above all the guarantee for you to travel authentically.

A retired (and active!) tourism professional, he accompanies groups on humanitarian trips, notably to Mexico, India and Colombia. Our values and actions

Our concept

Opt for sustainable and ethical tourism, diametrically opposed to mass tourism, with our unique concept of responsible travel. With us, travel is done in an intimate way, either individually or in small groups, to guarantee a deep immersion in indigenous cultures. We work directly with local communities to organise our trips, ensuring a warm welcome and a memorable experience for every traveller. Our offers are a perfect blend of relaxation, humanitarian commitment and cultural discovery, framed by an eco-responsible approach.

We have meticulously selected partners across the globe who share our values and meet our rigorous social and environmental criteria, established jointly to ensure respectful and authentic travel.  Choose a trip that makes sense, with our tailor-made tours designed to have a positive and sustainable impact.

HUMANTRIP's commitment

HUMANTRIP values its independence, refusing to apply so-called 'responsible' universal standards to local communities. We recognise and respect the unique characteristics and constraints of each country, region and inhabitant. For us, it is essential to adapt our responsibility criteria to the reality and daily life of our local partners, rather than imposing a Western framework. Since 2007, our approach has been guided by three fundamental principles

Respect for travellers

Respect for the traveller: HUMANTRIP offers you a variety of responsible and authentic trips, customisable to suit your availability and wishes. We are committed to providing comfort and excellent value for money with every travel experience.

 Respect for the regions visited

Respect for the regions we visit and rigorous selection of our partners: We establish direct partnerships with local structures, associations and organisations involved in fair tourism or associative activities, as well as with traditional dwellings that we have carefully selected.

 Involvement in associations

Commitment to the community: LE VOYAGE HUMAIN is committed to donating part of its profits to local projects via its association. Our trips are designed to be fair, responsible and humanitarian, while our association funds carefully selected and supervised local initiatives, such as the Tetsijtsilin school in Mexico, Speedtrust in India, the village of Tengrela in Burkina Faso and other ongoing projects, such as the sponsorship of children in Manambondro in Madagascar.

By choosing HUMANTRIP, you are choosing a travel partner who genuinely respects the people and places you visit, while actively contributing to local development.

Our trips

  • Explore Authenticity with HUMANTRIP

Dive into the heart of authenticity with our fair-trade and responsible trips, designed to offer you unforgettable relaxation and ecological discovery.

     Eco-responsible adventures

Each adventure is carefully designed to maximise your enjoyment, in collaboration with service providers committed to an eco-responsible and socially responsible approach. HUMANTRIP rigorously selects its partners, such as self-drive tours led by fairly-paid drivers, far from the beaten track of businesses influenced by undesirable networks, favouring certified eco-lodges, picturesque inns, agritourism experiences and homestays for total immersion.

     Voyages Solidaires

Our solidarity trips take you beyond simple tourist itineraries. We forge links with local agencies and guides to connect you with the associations and local NGOs we support, as well as educational institutions, enabling you to discover the local culture and authentic way of life of the communities you visit. Priority is given to enriching human experiences, with a contribution from your trip allocated to rigorously selected NGOs. These exclusive tours are unique to HUMANTRIP and cannot be found anywhere else.

    Humanitarian commitment

As for humanitarian trips, they represent an opportunity to become personally involved in concrete projects, working hand in hand with local players. Leave on a meaningful mission, make a direct contribution on the ground and make a tangible difference to the lives of local people.

With HUMANTRIP, choose a form of tourism that combines pleasure, discovery and social contribution, while respecting the principles of ecotourism and promoting a positive impact on the destinations you visit.
