Departure from Paris on a scheduled airline. Transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv, the economic capital and leading Zionist city in the world, offers an exceptional quality of life. Stroll through the markets, discover the old town of Jaffa with its names like Andromeda, Jonah's Whale and Napoleon, stroll along Rothschild Boulevard and the adjacent streets in the Bauhaus quarter. The White City is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its high concentration of Bauhaus-style buildings - a veritable living museum! And finish off in Hayarkon Park. Overnight at your hotel.

Collection of the car. Coastal route to Caesarea, the port of King Herod, an archaeological site with interesting interactive attractions. Continuing on to Haifa, the viewpoint from the top of the Baha'i Gardens, one of Israel's Unesco World Heritage sites. Discovery of Saint Jean d'Acre: the Crusader City, a labyrinth through the layers of history where our imagination takes us back to the Middle Ages. Visit to a shop selling local handicrafts made by young disabled people. Night in Galilee, in Tiberias.

Visit one of the three famous synagogues. Stroll through the Banias nature reserve and its refreshing waterfalls. Discover Mount Bental, one of the five mountains of the Golan, with a very surprising viewpoint. The Golan is also a cattle-breeding region. Continuation to Katzrin and the archaeological museum. An interesting film on the history of Gamla as told by Flavius Josephus. Overnight in Galilee at Tiberias.

Day trip around Lake Tiberias: Tabgha and the Church of the Multiplication of Bread and Fish, Capernaum, the Mount of the Beatitudes. Visit to Domus Galilee, a centre for seminarians from all over the world, but above all an extraordinary piece of architecture. Then on to Nazareth. Visit to the Basilica of the Annunciation. Overnight in Nazareth in a typical boutique hotel to enjoy the old town and its nightlife.

Jordan Valley, Jerusalem

On the way to the Jordan Valley, stop off at Beit Alpha, a synagogue with a reconstructed mosaic depicting the signs of the zodiac. Then a visit to Beit Shean. Stop at the Sde Eliahou kibbutz. This kibbutz has developed organic farming, based on biblical writings and in collaboration with its Jordanian neighbours. In the evening, stroll through the narrow streets of the Nahalat Shiva district in the heart of the city. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Discover the desert and its natural jacuzzis

Descent through the Judean desert to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth (400 metres below sea level). Passing through Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Stop at the Ein Gedi reserve and climb up to the waterfall to enjoy the natural jacuzzis, or continue to the Massada site and visit the Herodian fortress overlooking the desert (a UNESCO World Heritage site). Overnight in the Negev desert on an ecological farm.

From Ein Avdat, the tomb of David and Paula Ben Gurion, admire the view over the valley of Tzin. You might even catch a glimpse of the desert gazelles. On to Beer Sheva, the gateway to the desert. Stop at the Bedouin museum in the Lahav forest. Discover the traditions of one of the region's minorities. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Paris. Night on board.

Climate and equipment

A mixture of Mediterranean climate along the coast and desert climate in the desert, the dominant feature is the presence of two main seasons:
- Winter, between November and March, can be very cold, with snowfall in some regions.
- Summer, from April to October, is very hot, with cold nights in the desert regions.
The weather on the coast is mild in all seasons.
There are plenty of opportunities to explore the country in all seasons, depending on the region you visit.
Make sure you wear clothing appropriate to the country's religious and cultural context.
