Comfort

The Tembo Hotel is a beautiful old Omani house with direct access to the sea, a rarity in the city. Its furnishings are typically Zanzibari with large four-poster beds. Its swimming pool, sea view and central location make it an excellent choice.

The Zanzibar Pearl Hotel is a romantic and very personal hotel. With 24 rooms, it is located directly on the waterfront with a beautiful tropical garden. It is not just a place to visit, but a home away from home, with a warm and caring staff. Various activities are possible: snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, bodyboarding, a relaxing moment at the spa...

Climate and equipment

Staying in the islands during the rainy season (April-May) is almost not recommended as almost all businesses are closed at this time. The rest of the year, the sun shines eternally during a dry season ideal for relaxation. The short rainy season is still pleasant except in November when the rains are more regular. The hotels are almost empty, but the island remains friendly.

Health

Yellow fever vaccination certificate is required if you are arriving from a country where the disease is endemic, either in Africa or in Latin and Central America, or if you have been in transit for more than 12 hours.
