Climate and equipment

To get to Cape Verde and enjoy the best conditions, it is best to visit between late September and mid-November, at the end of the rainy season: the drought is less severe, the winds less violent and nature is luxuriantly adorned in the green that gives the country its name. Temperatures average between 24-30°C (with seawater temperatures only slightly lower). Slight humidity and the influence of the winds make for very pleasant temperatures. Take light clothing with you.

Health

No vaccinations are compulsory, except in the event of an epidemic. However, all travellers passing through Senegal or Brazil must be vaccinated against yellow fever and have an up-to-date international vaccination record. It is recommended that the diphtheria-tetanus-polio vaccination (DTP) be updated.
