Departure from Paris on SN BRUSSELS. Services on board. Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Dinner at leisure. Overnight stay.

Discovery of the host village

Discovery of the host village

Departure for the village which is located at 7km from Banfora. Welcome and installation in your hut. Presentation of the projects and the different infrastructures

Free choice of activities

It is up to you to compose your own solidarity stay in the village. This stay is an opportunity to combine solidarity aid with the discovery of this green and generous region of Burkina.

For the participatory part :

Missions to be defined with the help of the local team, according to your desires, your capacities and the local possibilities at the time of your coming. Various actions are in progress and/or to be developed:

Educational and social :

Tutoring in the primary schools of each sector and the village college.
Construction of schools in the village and surrounding areas.
Support and participation in CREPA activities.
Support for the dispensary.
Support for the orphanage in Banfora.
Creation of a library.
Participation in the annual village sports and cultural festival (December).

Environmental, economic and solidarity-based

Rainwater harvesting project.
Improvement of the water tower system (Human Trip Association funded this project).
Project to refurbish defective equipment.
Inputs to the renewable energy project.
Support for farming and fish farming activities.

For the discovery part (to be paid on the spot, it is also possible to organise the activities before departure)

There are many possibilities in this green and generous region of Burkina Faso: hiking (the camp leader is also a guide and can help you organise your visits), activities in all simplicity: swimming in waterfalls, fishing, African music lessons, participation in village activities, visits to surrounding sites (pottery village, cave villages, etc.). In the evenings, the camp's troupe will be pleased to make you dance and to make the "Tassabas" move to the rhythms of the balafons and percussions.

For your travels, car, moped and bicycle rentals are available. For your meals, a maquis bar is open at all hours, local and European dishes are served. The rooms "huts" are equipped with a mosquito net and the comfort remains in the tradition. Food is at your disposal.

Farewell to all these people and accompanied transfer to Ouagadouguo. Flight to Paris.

Comfort

Rudimentary comfort. The huts are equipped with mosquito nets, showers and "African" outdoor facilities.

Climate and equipment

The best time to go to Burkina is when the climate is most temperate, between November and February, despite the inconvenience of the harmattan (a hot wind from the Sahara) which deposits a film of sand everywhere.

PASSPORT & VISAS
For your trip to Burkina Faso, you will need a passport that is valid for six months after the return date of your trip.
An entrance fee of 35 euros is payable at the embassy.

Everything is available on site, including food and accommodation in traditional huts. The family warmly welcomes you in their habits and customs to share their culture. Guides are at your disposal for the visits. A list of recommendations and information will be given to you before your departure. On site you will always have a contact.
