After an initial wake-up session and a good breakfast, we start with a loop hike from the hotel: a warm-up on the paths that zigzag between old terraced crops, in a rural and panoramic atmosphere. We will take time to admire the landscape, with the Sierra de Cadi in the background, to get some fresh air, and to discover some forgotten farmhouses and hamlets. The view of the Pyrenean altiplano is remarkable.

Day 4

Sierra de Cadi

Sierra de Cadi

We are so charmed by this area that we have to go and walk on the slopes of the famous Sierra de Cadi! Starting from the village of Estana, we will hike to the Prat de Cadi: this grassy esplanade of soft green or brightened up with a thousand and one flowers, spreads out at the foot of the immense and elegant limestone walls. Thick forests surround this beautiful clearing, giving the landscape a real Canadian rocky look. Return by the same route. This evening, paella evening!
Walking time: 3 hours. Difference in altitude: + 350m / - 350m. Transfer time: 1 hour.

Day 5

The ponds of boredom

The ponds of boredom

Transfer upstream from the village of Méranges. Hike to the refuge and the Malniu ponds, real jewel cases nestled in the high altitude pine forests, where only a few soft birdsongs brighten up the soothing silence of the place. Although the ground is sometimes rocky, the lakes are located in the heart of a granite landscape that is not very uneven. Perched at an altitude of 2300m, the banks of the lakes invite you to relax and contemplate. An idyllic landscape!
Walking time: 3h30 to 4h. Difference in altitude: + 300m / - 300m. Transfer time: 1 hour.

Day 6

Between forests and plateaus

Between forests and plateaus

Through the Cadi tunnel, transfer to the southern side of the Sierra. A loop hike in a totally different atmosphere: between forests and meadow-covered plateaus, the charming isolated village of Gisclareny and its surroundings offer a sublime view of the elegant silhouette of the Pedraforca. This characteristic forked peak, very photogenic with its twin peaks, dominates the whole valley and the forests that surround it.

OUR RECIPE FOR WELL-BEING
Daily exercise. The path of Hatha Yoga brings together the knowledge and experience acquired through practice since the 8th century AD. It is a synthesis of physical exercises, conscious breathing (breath dynamics), the practice of concentration and meditation that addresses the whole human being. Through supple postures and breathing techniques, yoga enables us to develop an inner vitality that frees up vast resources of energy and well-being. The gentlest form of walking to get back in touch with nature: 3 to 4 hours of unhindered walking in the gentle, sun-drenched hills of the Pyrenean altiplano: the Cerdagne.

Quality accommodation : This very comfortable restaurant, ideally situated at an altitude of 1100m, offers meals based mainly on local, fresh and organic produce! Meals that are both tasty and healthy.

The wellness spa and swimming pool
With a magnificent view of the mountains, the spa allows you to start your journey in the aroma biosauna, relax in the caldarium, join the oriental steam bath with chromotherapy before cooling off in the ice fountain. After this temporary chill, the Finnish sauna will keep you warm. And if that's not enough, take a cold shower in the bucket, walk along the sensations trail, take a dip in the pool or in the warm waters of the panoramic tepidarium. Enjoy a unique moment in the panoramic outdoor jacuzzi and finish the circuit with the thousand sensations caused by the passage of nebulised water.
Free access to the heated swimming pool (indoor or outdoor depending on the season).
You will have free access to the hotel spa every day BETWEEN 5pm AND 9pm, except Mondays outside July and August.
